Terms of sale and licence

These terms cover buying and using Relevo, a plugin for Autodesk 3ds Max. Relevo is made by Sergio Santos, trading as Relevo ("we", "us"). You can reach us at sergio@relevotech.uk.

1. Who you buy from

Our online store is run by Lemon Squeezy (Lemon Squeezy LLC), who act as our reseller and Merchant of Record. When you buy Relevo, Lemon Squeezy sells it to you, takes the payment, charges any VAT or sales tax and sends your receipt and licence key. Their terms, shown at checkout, apply to the payment. This licence agreement is between you and us.

2. What you get

Prices are shown on our website and at checkout, and include VAT where it applies. Relevo is delivered as a download with a licence key, straight after payment.

3. Computers and activation

Each licence key can be active on the number of computers stated at purchase (1 for Pro, 5 for Studio). Keys are activated online once per computer and re-checked from time to time, and keep working for 45 days without an internet connection. "Remove licence from this computer" frees a seat so you can move Relevo to a new computer. Activation sends only your licence key and an anonymous computer identifier; see our privacy policy.

4. What you may not do

You may not resell, rent, share or publish licence keys, get around the licensing, or redistribute Relevo, except where the law allows it. The renders, animations, scenes and terrain files you create are yours, subject to the data licences in section 6.

5. Updates and support

We provide support by email and new versions while your updates are included or your subscription is active. Relevo may check our website for new versions; no personal data is sent when it does.

6. Third-party data

Relevo downloads geographic data from third parties, each with its own licence, and writes the required credits into every terrain it builds. These include Copernicus DEM GLO-30, national elevation data (USGS 3DEP, AHN, swisstopo, IGN France, Environment Agency, IGN Spain, Kartverket), OpenStreetMap (© OpenStreetMap contributors, ODbL), AWS Terrain Tiles and Sentinel-2 cloudless by EOX. Please credit these sources when you publish work that uses them. Google Maps Platform imagery is optional and off by default; use it only if your own agreement with Google allows it. 7. Refunds

Please see our refund policy. It does not affect your legal rights as a consumer.

8. Warranty and liability

We make Relevo with care and test it on every supported version of 3ds Max, but we can't promise it will be free of errors, and geographic data can contain mistakes. To the extent the law allows, Relevo is provided "as is", and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for your licence in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your statutory rights as a consumer.

9. Ending the licence

Your Pro licence ends automatically if you break these terms, or if your payment is refunded or charged back. You can always keep using the Free features.

10. Changes and law

We may update these terms for new versions; the terms at the time of your purchase apply to that purchase. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes go to the courts of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of your country.
